On the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December, Meja Urja Nigam Pvt. Limited (MUNPL) under its Community Development programme organized a distribution camp for Aids & Assistive devices to Divyangjan. The main aim of the distribution camp was to support and promote self-reliance  among the ‘specially-abled’ people of the nearby villages of MUNPL.

The  procurement of aids & assistive devices like hearing-aids & crutches was done from Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO). The programme was addressed by the Chief Executive Officer of MUNPL, Sh. Rakesh Kumar who gave a message for promoting inclusivity and awareness towards the needs of ‘specially-abled’ persons. Sh. R.K. Kanojia, CGM (TS/P), Sh. Akhil Pattnaik, AGM (HR),  Sh. C P S Niranjan, DGM (R&R) and other senior executives of MUNPL marked their presence in the programme.
